Online group courses to resume September 2022.

Online courses are offered on ZOOM. All prices are in CAD including taxes and times indicated are based on Montreal Eastern.

Requests to participate in courses should be sent by email – info AT hathayogashala DOT com (spelled out to avoid spam). Check your spam box if a response is not received within 24 hours.

Deadline to register : 4 days before start of course. Classes are not recorded unless otherwise stated.

For a successful online session:

1. Be on time. Upon entry, you will be escorted into a waiting room. You will be admitted into the session at the scheduled time.
No refunds will be given once the course has begun.
Familiarize yourself with the zoom platform in advance. You are responsible for your own technological issues.
2. Be on a carpet or a yoga mat. Arrange your screen to a full body view if you have the space.You will need a quiet place in the house where no one can disturb you and you won’t be disturbing others with me talking on speaker. It should be away from any distractions such as other people, phones, TVs… Have yoga props nearby if you require them.
3. Come on an empty stomach. No drinking before or during the class. Leave 4 hours after eating a heavy meal before afternoon practice.
4. I will do my best under the circumstances but will be unable to help physically from behind a screen. Therefore you are fully responsible for keeping yourselves away from harm and only doing exercises that suit your level of capacity. Things will be kept very simple but one can never be sure, what is simple for one person may be damaging to another on any given day.
5. Women in the first 3 days of their menstrual cycle should not practice. Set yourself up in a comfortable, supported, warm position and watch. Read an article by Radhasri here
6. Advise me of any special needs or injuries in advance.
7. Use your real first name so you are recognizable to me for admittance. Otherwise, send me by private email which name you will use.
8. Recording or taking screenshots of myself or anyone in the Zoom sessions is NOT permitted.
9. Do not chat or send texts on the Zoom platform as this is how security is breached and it disturbs my focus.
10. Be sure to plug in your computer.
