Saturday, February 12, 2022 – Online Workshop
In Chinese medicine the body is seen as an intricate network of waterways consisting of springs, rivers and seas. In yoga it’s experienced as a body of light vibrating via corridors that transport the energy of wind and sound, as well as all the other elements. When there is blockage of flow in the channels, stagnation happens creating what’s known as Marma. They can be felt as just tender spots to very painful areas depending on the degree of accumulation or illness. Any excess in a channel causes congestion, damming of the waterways, flooding, swelling, inflammation to denser actual growths. Any lack of blood or qi can leave behind dryness, stiffness, emptiness, weakness, cramping, lack of grounding, or debility.
This workshop will last from 1.25 to 1.5 hrs based on the Q&A at the end. It will offer basic but effective suggestions on some marma and acupressure points to massage on a daily basis or weekly routine, to help with symptoms of fatigue, nasal congestion, digestive disorders, insomnia and more.
Learning a few simple points may help clear the pathways for better circulation to flow within.
*This workshop will be recorded and available within 24 hrs for up to 7 days of viewing.
